We just uprooted our lives in South Carolina and moved down to Southwest Florida. The move has been nothing short of hectic, stressful and exhilarating.
There has been so much to do and, as it’s said all too often, there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Unfortunately during this time, I’ve had very little time to shoot, but it looks like things are finally settling down. Fingers crossed.
I’ve wanted to start blogging for a while, but I always seem to find a reason not to. With all these changes going on around me, it feels like a good time to just dive in and put more of myself out there.
I can’t make any promises about where this blog is going to go or what I’m going to write about long-term. I imagine it will mostly revolve around wildlife photography and maybe some personal stories along the way.
My life has been so loud and busy the past couple of years, it was daunting to put my thoughts into words on paper (or screen). Now that I’m getting some silence back I want to go back to doing things for myself that I put to the side (writing being one of those things). My skills are a bit rusty, so bear with me as I rediscover my voice.
This is another creative outlet for me, some things will flourish and some will flop, but growth is the goal. I’m looking forward to what comes next.
I post on Instagram most often, so you can find me here for the most up-to-date images.
